Expanding the CRJO Food Rescue Network
Using learnings from our previous Food Donation Network project, CRJO will be working to expand and strengthen the network of charities and food donors it engaged with in 2020-2022 to now include all 11 member council areas. The project will work to significantly improve the regional food donation infrastructure and volume of donated food.
Community forum workshops will be held to better connect food donors, including new donors, to food rescue organisations of all types. Issues and opportunities will be discussed so as to provide additional assistance to food relief charities as well as preventing food wastage and ensuring that edible food is used well.
Proudly funded by the NSW Government through a NSW Environment Protection Authority Food Rescue Grant.
