Regional Drought Resilience Program
Regional Drought Resilience Plan (Hilltops Council & Upper Lachlan Shire Council)
The Regional Drought Resilience Planning (RDRP) program was delivered as part of the Future Ready Regions Strategy, with joint funding from the Commonwealth Government’s Future Drought Fund, and NSW Government’s Regional Growth Fund.
The program was designed to enable consortiums of local governments (and their communities) to better prepare for, respond to, and recover from drought. This Project is one of three (3) pilots under the RDRP program.
This project involved the development of a combined Regional Drought Resilience Plan for Hilltops Council and Upper Lachlan Shire Council, to identify and guide actions to build the region’s resilience to future drought.
